In many schools and gyms, you can often see the plastic floor, but after a period of use, it tends to be damaged and requires routine maintenance. Do you know how to maintain vinyl flooring? The following editor tells you how to maintain it.
1. Preventive maintenance:
At the entrance, a dust-proof mat of appropriate size should be laid.
2. Daily cleaning:
Dry mop: remove dust and dirt from the floor. Use dry or wet yarn, microfiber or other available dry mop.
Clean with a vacuum cleaner: Dust and loose dirt on the plastic floor can be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner.
In areas with restricted operations, this cleaning method can be used instead of mops.
Slightly damp mop: First, slightly damp the mop with water or detergent. The method is to use a special cleaning winch to squeeze out the excess water from the mop, or spray water or detergent on the mop. Note that no water can accumulate on the floor. The floor must be completely dry within 15-20 seconds after wiping.
Removal of stains: spray the diluted neutral detergent directly on the stains, then use a white or red nylon cleaning pad to clean until the stains are removed, and finally wipe it off with clean water.
3. Intermittent maintenance:
Spray treatment, except for non-slip safety floors designed for high-end kindergartens: Before spray treatment, use a dry mop or a slightly damp mop or a vacuum cleaner to clean the plastic floor.
Mix water, neutral detergent or floor care agent in the container. The appropriate speed of the washing machine is 300-1500 rpm. Be careful to use a suitable cleaning pad according to the floor.
